If you want Corporate Catering Services or affordable catering then make sure you evaluate your potential caterers properly. When you hire corporate catering you should make sure that you review the menu and the potential proposal yourself and in person. This will give you an opportunity to review the catering operation yourself. You can see if the office is clean and whether or not you are greeted in a fast manner. You should note if you have any hesitation after this process because those hesitations are likely to carry on to your catering event. Take note of whether your proposal is timely and whether the sales manager with whom you meet is flexible. If both are true then it is a sign that the company will bring these traits into the way they handle your event. The opposite might also be true. If your proposal is not on time it might be a sign that the caterer does not view it as important.

You should make sure you ask about any fine print. Make sure the proposal has everything in it that you have asked for and ask about whether there is tax or if the price will change based on the head count. Ask about how the labor works and whether you are responsible for tipping at the end of the event. When you look at different catering proposals you want to make sure you are comparing apples to apples and that you do not mistake a lower proposal fee (with taxes and tips not included) to a slightly higher proposal fee that is all-inclusive.

Some venues have an approved catering list and you should use that. The reason for this is the approved caterers are already familiar with the rules and they may not incur post-event costs for you because they forgot to adhere to certain venue policies or take out the trash. Ask about any special requirements for food and beverage. Some caterers may be better at handling any dietary restrictions and some might be willing to make late additions or changes on-site while others are not. Ask if the caterer can roll with a delayed time line should the boss’ speech run over. Ask if they can offer things like gluten-free meals. Flexibility is crucial when it comes to such catering. Make sure you know who is in charge for the day of the event. The person who the catering company places in charge may not be your primary contact. If you know your contact you can ensure any changes or questions you might stumble upon the day of the event are answered.

It's good to know that we'd ask about a caterer's flexibility when it comes to adding a menu for people with dietary restrictions. My oldest brother is getting married next summer, and he's looking for his wedding suppliers. His fiance is allergic to gluten, so I think he'd definitely ask about gluten-free menus when meeting caterers.
